Jack wanted to help me in the kitchen this evening (Ben is at a slumber party and Jack was bored). So, I had him work on browning some meat in a pan, he was doing such an awesome job that I brought out the camera to document his culinary skills. I snapped this shot and put the camera down to get Owen (who was finding his way into the DVD cabinet)...............
When I returned, this is what I found.................
If you can't tell, it's Jack playing with action figures and the meat left to fend for itself. I asked Jack why he left his post and he said "I think cooking is fun for just a while"(yes, 1-2 min. is a while to a 7 year old).
Then dad came home and we took a couple more shots just for fun...........

As most of you know I teach fitness classes and I have been teaching a yoga format for several years now. I will often go over a few sequences before I teach to familiarize myself with my class content and structure. The boys see me doing this and will often watch or make comments, but on this day Jack jumped in and started to follow along. It was so cute that Ed grabbed the camera to document our little yogi in training!
