More Artic Blast '08 Photos...

Yep, that's our destroyed 'outside eating area' canopy! Ruined, the frame broke and the bowed part you see eventually fell through! Big bummer! the other two shots show how difficult it was to get out of the drive way...

Happy Birthday Sasa! We love you...

Artic Blast 2008

The Pacific NW has been hit hard with the Artic Blast of 2008 (as it has been named). We have close to 11 inches of snow on the ground and a thick sheet of ice covering all that snow. Many businesses are closed and driving is no easy feat! So, we've burrowed up at home and here are some photos taken this evening of our fun!

Snow Days!

Yes, it's true...the kids have had snow days thus far this week! It all started Sunday Dec. 14 with a snow accumulation of about 4 inches and has since turned into packed ice and now mother nature threatens to strike again tomorrow morning with snow and ice flurries!
So, the kids have not had school and are not expected to have it the remainder of the week...leading into winter break, having them return on Jan. 6th! Yes, the kids will be home for another 3 weeks! Oh Lord help me now!
Below are some glimpses of our snow day adventures:
Here is Owen protesting his picture being snapped after an indulgence of chocolate pancakes!
