New Puppy

As most of you know we lost our beloved dog Harley over this past summer and had been wanting to get the kids another dog. We tried the adoption route (2 Greyhounds) but it was not such a good fit and they had to go back. We were bummed but comitted to finding the right dog.......that leaves Marsha on the loose looking for another dog or puppy to add to the family (scary combo there)!
So, Saturday of last week we went to an innocent Easter Egg hunt and returned home with a sweet little puppy! She is a boxer mix, 11 weeks old and her name is London (Ben's contribution). We just adore her, she is so sweet and loves the kids!

We had a wonderful week with Ed's parents who were visiting from Kansas! I will post more photos of their trip here soon!
They left today to head back to the Midwest...............
We already miss them!

I did it, I got rid of the Trump mullet that Owen has been sporting for several months now! He now looks like such a big boy..................

Blogging Break

I'm back from a month blogging hiatus! I was partly lazy during that month but we also all had the terrible flu (one after the next). I don't just mean the 24 hour flu or stomach flu (that would have been a blessing compared to what we endured), I mean the 2 week, I'm too sick to get out of my jammies flu! Yes, all 5 of us contracted it! Luckily, Owen had it the least severe. Unfortunately, Ed (who had a flu shot) and I got stuck with the worst of it. I even had to have my Mom (yes, I still call my mommy when I'm sick)come help me for a few days until I could function on my own again, she was a saint-Thanks mom(not too mention she got the flu two weeks after helping me)! Not fun and am so glad to be feeling better, we all are!
Other than that we've been good! Ben and Jack started indoor soccer and are loving it! They have games starting after spring break and are looking forward to that (pics coming soon)!
Owen is growing like a weed and loves to "hang out" trying to be like his big brothers! He also has really long 'Donald Trump', comb-over, mullet hair right now. Ed does not want me to cut it, but I'm seriously getting tired of people telling me how cute my little girl is!
